About
Hi, I’m Aurora! A mom of two (shoutout to Izzy & Elijah!), wife, therapist, wellness enthusiast and a lifelong lover of all things creative. My life has been a wild mix of family adventures, therapy sessions, late-night crafting marathons, and chasing my dream of blending personal growth with creativity—and now, it’s all coming together in this product line!
How This All Came to Life
Creativity has always been in my DNA. As a teenager, you could find me in a coffee shop or bookstore, scribbling poetry, doodling my next creative idea, or getting lost in a new book. And my happy place? The beach. Ever since I had the opportunity to drive my beat-up hand-me-down car, I packed up my boom box and case full of CDs along with me. I loved chasing the waves, soaking up the sun in the salty San Diego air and sitting with music in my ears. Those moments shaped me, and they remind me to always make time to recharge my soul.
Before becoming a mom, I owned a small shop where I poured my heart into making custom jewelry and children’s accessories. Fast forward a few years (and a lot of coffee-fueled nights), I’ve found new ways to channel my creative energy. I was the DIY bride who customized everything for her wedding. The mom who stayed up until 2 AM designing Pinterest-worthy birthday parties for my kids.
Life changed, but my passion for creating never did. As I deepened my career as a therapist while staying connected to my creative roots, I began noticing a common thread among the people I worked with. Those struggling with mental health challenges—often shaped by difficult environmental circumstances—tended to focus on survival rather than creating healthy habits. Many were adapting to the life they were given rather than designing the life they truly wanted.
As I started working with adults striving for better lives, I saw a recurring theme: the struggle to unlearn old patterns while building healthier ways to think, act, and relate to others. Having grown up witnessing struggle firsthand—seeing people in my environment engage in unhealthy behaviors, conflict, and harmful ways of building community—I knew exactly what I didn’t want to become. That understanding fueled my drive to create something better, both for myself and for others.
Throughout my 14 years of working with clients from all walks of life, I’ve seen one consistent challenge: taking the lessons learned in therapy and applying them to daily life. That realization became the spark for my mission to bridge the gap between therapy and real-world practice through intentional, creative tools that help make mental wellness a part of everyday living.
That’s where my idea sparked,Why not combine my love of creativity with my passion for mental health? I started dreaming up ways to make self-care more practical, more accessible, and (dare I say) more fun. That’s how this product line was born.
What I Create
My line includes journals, sweaters, tote bags, and more—all designed with intention. Each product is more than just an item; it’s a small, daily reminder to take care of yourself. It’s about honoring your mental health and showing yourself some love in a world that often asks us to go, go, go.
For instance, our sweaters aren’t just comfy—they’re a message. A statement that mental health matters. A reminder to take the time to pause, recharge, and be unapologetic about putting yourself first.
Why This Matters
This isn’t just about selling products. It’s about helping people shift their mindsets. Taking care of your mental health isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. Whether it’s rocking a sweater that reminds you to breathe or jotting your thoughts into a journal to clear your mind, I want these tools to make self-care feel approachable, empowering, and even a little fun.
Let’s redefine what it means to take “sick daze.” Let’s normalize prioritizing our mental health just as much as our physical health. Let’s create a culture where taking care of ourselves isn’t selfish—it’s essential.
